Grapes of Arkansas Workshop and Field Day

The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture will be hosting a Grapes of Arkansas Workshop and Field Day at the Fruit Research Station at Clarksville on Thursday, September 15.

Workshop coordinators are Dr. Renee Threlfall, Dr. John Clark, Dr. Amanda McWhirt and Dr. Jackie Lee. We have an array of speakers for this workshop to give updates that impact grape production in Arkansas.  In addition, there will be a display of muscadine cultivars and selections developed at this facility, and a tour that will emphasize the Division’s grape breeding program.  Whether you are thinking about expanding your existing vineyard, changing to newer cultivars, establishing a vineyard, or want to learn about grape production in Arkansas, this is a great opportunity! This workshop is partially sponsored by the Arkansas Association of Grape Growers.

The registration for this workshop is $20 or $10 for members of the Arkansas Association of Grape Growers. Dinner is included in registration.  Registration and payment deadline is September 8, 2016.
